The goal of Dr. Lake and her staff is to deliver quality medical care with respect, consideration, and genuine concern for those who have entrusted their health care to us. She practices family medicine and is able to treat all patients, but has special interest in women's health, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, sports medicine and preventative medicine.
Dr. Lake is a graduate of Capital University where she obtained a Bachelor´s degree in chemistry and biology. She graduated from The Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992. While at Ohio University, Dr. Lake belonged to Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She was also awarded several graduation honors including: The Central Ohio Regional Award (presented to the student who has completed with the highest level of distinction the fourth year hospital based rotations), The UpJohn Academic Achievement Award (presented to the student who has demonstrated superior academic performance during the preclinical years), The Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Award (presented to a female student graduating in the top 10% of her class), and the National Dean's List.
Dr. Lake then completed her family practice residency program at Grant Medical Center in 1995. She is board certified by both the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Osteopathic General Practitioners.
Dr. Lake has been in private practice since 1995 and in her current Gahanna location since 2002.
Dr. Lake is an Assistant Clinical Professor at The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and regularly teaches third and fourth year medical students about outpatient family practice.
She is currently a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Practice. She is currently on staff at OSU, St. Anns, Grant and Doctors Hospital.
